Can I meet with you?

I meet up with all my clients so we may discuss your event in more detail. This enables me to show you how I can help in making your day truly special. Click here to book your meeting.

How much do you charge?

I will tailor your event to suit your individual requirements, therefore pricing will differ from client to client. At our meeting we can determine your requirements and I will quote you a fixed price for your reception. I can offer you a package which includes early set up before your guests arrive, back ground music through your meal, your reception disco with a choice of stunning light shows, planning meetings, venue visit and use of our on line event planner including your own music selection tool.

Tell me about the types of events you cater for;

The majority of events I’m booked for is as a wedding DJ, but also cater for birthdays, anniversary’s, civil partnerships along with corporate events. I’m not a karaoke or children’s DJ.

Are you an experienced wedding DJ?

I have been DJing for over 26 years and DJ’ed at hundreds of weddings around the south east. Entertainment is my full time career and a professional wedding DJ is the primary part of my business. I am also a member of The South Eastern Discotheque Association (SEDA) which keeps me up to date on new innovations within the industry and helps me provide a better service to my customers.

What type of music do you play?

At our meeting I will ascertain your music tastes and take note on the special tracks you may want played. I will integrate your selected tracks into the evening and generally play various genres of music throughout the night. You also have the use of my on line music request system enabling you to add tracks you want played leading up to your event.

Can you supply me with a written agreement?

All services I supply are backed up by a written agreement that I will issue on booking. This confirms all the services I am supplying for your event. In addition to this agreement you will also receive an event planner which list’s the activities of the day to ensure smooth integration with me and other suppliers on the day.

Sound level and quality is important to me;

I use some of the best industry equipment for sound and don’t use I-pods or bad quality mp3 files for play back. Mp3’s are great on your ear phones, but sound terrible over a quality sound system. My system is geared around the use of wav files that are uncompressed music files which I play through a high end DJ mixer. Volume is carefully controlled to ensure your guests are comfortable and can chat together.

Do you have back-up equipment?

I carry back up equipment to all events that I attend. In the unlikely situation that an item of equipment does go down I can quickly resume your party with minimal disruption.

How will your lighting look?

I offer bespoke set ups for my clients with a choice of different set ups that will be in keeping with your venue. When we meet up I will show you some different ideas of what I can provide for your event. I am meticulous in ensuring my set up is always clean and tidy, with all wires and equipment set around a stunning star lit DJ booth, which avoids the use of a venue trestle table covered in equipment and boxes that some DJ’s think is expectable for wedding receptions.

My venue requires a PAT and PLI certificates;

Many venues are now asking entertainers to provide PAT and PLI certificates. This confirms they have the proper procedures in place thus enabling them to work at said venue. DJ Andy B will issue these documents by email to your venue before the day and is in contact with your Event Manager leading up to your event confirming details to ensure your day is perfect.

What’s your dress code?

For wedding receptions I’m usually in black tie dress code, but will conform to your requirements be it suit and tie or less formal function where you may require me to dress casual.
